Luis Fernando Tafur-Acuna is an entrepreneur, solar operations leader, and technical field-service professional based in San Antonio, Texas. He completed technical studies in Petroleum and Gas Management in Colombia and has developed extensive hands-on experience in solar energy systems, electrical troubleshooting, project coordination, and field operations.

As a Founder of SunSecure Service, Luis leads the company’s technical operations, service procedures, quality-control standards, contractor coordination, and multi-market expansion. His work focuses on building an efficient solar service model capable of supporting homeowners, roofing contractors, restoration companies, property managers, and national service partners.

Luis brings practical experience in solar panel detach and reset, system inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, equipment replacement, and performance restoration. He works directly with roofing contractors to coordinate the safe removal of solar panels before roof work begins and their professional reinstallation after the roofing contractor completes the project. SunSecure Service manages the solar portion of this process and does not perform roofing work.

His technical experience includes diagnosing wiring failures, damaged connectors, communication problems, rapid-shutdown equipment, inverters, power optimizers, microinverters, batteries, monitoring platforms, and underperforming solar systems. He also oversees system commissioning, equipment pairing, monitoring restoration, production verification, warranty support, manufacturer communication, and RMA coordination.

Luis helps develop SunSecure’s detach and reset procedures, including system documentation, array mapping, component labeling, equipment protection, wire management, reinstallation standards, and final performance testing. His approach combines hands-on field knowledge with organized project management to reduce delays, protect solar equipment, and help systems return to normal production.

He also plays an important role in SunSecure’s relationships with roofing and restoration partners. By providing centralized coordination, clear scopes of work, photographic documentation, and consistent technical support, Luis helps partners complete projects without having to disconnect, remove, or troubleshoot solar equipment themselves.

His leadership is grounded in accountability, practical problem-solving, safety, and continuous improvement. He believes that a successful solar service company must do more than complete the physical work. It must communicate clearly, document every stage of the project, identify problems before they become more expensive, and verify the system’s operation before closing the service.

Katerine Bello

Founder

Katerine Bello is an attorney licensed to practice law in Colombia, an entrepreneur, and a business leader based in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from St. Mary’s University School of Law and is currently preparing for the Texas Bar Examination as part of her path toward admission to practice law in Texas.

Her international legal education and business experience provide her with a distinctive perspective on contracts, corporate organization, regulatory compliance, risk management, customer protection, business development, and strategic partnerships.

As a Founder of SunSecure Service, Katerine helps lead the company’s administrative, contractual, compliance, and business strategy. She works to establish consistent operating standards that support SunSecure’s relationships with homeowners, roofing contractors, restoration companies, property managers, insurance professionals, subcontractors, and national service partners.

Her responsibilities include supporting the development and management of customer and commercial service agreements, professional partnerships, subcontractor compliance requirements, internal policies, operating procedures, risk-management standards, insurance requirements, national account programs, business expansion strategies, and project-documentation processes.

Katerine also helps ensure that SunSecure’s solar panel detach and reset, inspection, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance projects begin with clearly defined scopes of work. Her focus on transparent agreements and consistent procedures helps homeowners and professional partners understand what is included, how each project will be coordinated, and what documentation will be provided upon completion.

She supports the development of SunSecure’s centralized project coordination model, which is designed to provide roofing contractors, restoration companies, property managers, and national partners with one reliable point of contact for scheduling, project communication, service documentation, and final system verification.

Although Katerine’s legal background plays an important role in SunSecure’s internal business structure and risk-management strategy, SunSecure Service is a solar service company and does not provide legal services. Katerine is licensed to practice law in Colombia and is currently pursuing her path toward admission in Texas.
